Area description

Chamartín is a district of the municipality of Madrid, located to the north of the capital and composed of the neighborhoods of El Viso, Prosperidad, Garden City, Hispanic America, New Spain and Castile. It limits to the north with Fuencarral-El Pardo, to the east with Ciudad Lineal, to the south with the district of Salamanca, to the southwest with Chamberí and to the west with Tetuán.
It currently houses the headquarters of several of the most important companies in Spain and contains several areas of skyscrapers in the city, including the M-30 (financial zone) or the Puerta de Europa Towers, bordering the AZCA building. It is worth mentioning the proximity to Barajas airport.
Among its points of interest are the National Auditorium of Music, the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Park of Berlin, the Canal Park of Isabel II, the Courts of the Plaza de Castilla and the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Its proximity to the Paseo de la Castellana is another great artery of circulation.
It also has one of the most important railway stations in Madrid and one of the busiest in Spain, called Madrid-Chamartín. It is also close to Nuevos Ministerios Metro Station, where one of the most famous shop, "El Corte Inglés", and a large commercial and gastronomic offer of wide variety.
