Area description

Salamanca is a centrical neighbourhood, well connected with the rest of the city, near the park "El Retiro", the biggest and most famous park of Madrid. It is also an important commercial area, with some of the most exclusive brands. It is full of clothes shops, both of expensive brands and big chains, and shoes and bags shops on the calle Goya; and it is surrounded, at a short distance, by "El corte Inglés" centers (the biggest and most famous in Madrid).
